Returning for its 40th anniversary, we are thrilled to have the Director-approved 4K re-release of 1985's Angel's Egg coming to our screens. An early insight into the creative talents of writer-director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell) and artist Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy, Vampire Hunter D), this cult classic science-fantasy anime is not to be missed.

This screening will be introduced by Paul Farrell, Film Curator.

Paul Farrell is a Film Curator based in the North of England and Co-Director of Rat Depot CIC in Leeds. Producing DIY and theatrical events, Paul has programmed screenings for film clubs and festivals across the UK, including Cinema Rediscovered, The Creative Nonfiction Film Weekend and Scalarama Festival.
