Screenings at Odeon
Join Manchester Animation Festival as we celebrate all thing animated. Our screenings at the Odeon take place on Friday 18 November and you can see a showcase of short films, see films from new talented animators across the globe in new voices and see some fantastic feature films and special previews.
Tickets for short films are £6 full price, £5 concession and for features are £9.50 full price, £7.50 concession.
These films are not suitable for children but if you are interested in bringing children check out our family day on Sunday 13 November.

Following three generations of women in a 25-year-long civil war in Angola, Nayola sees past and present interlace. The mother goes in search of her missing husband at the height of the war and doesn’t return. Her daughter has become a subversive rapper while her grandmother tries to contain her for fear of the police coming to arrest her.

Unicorn Wars follows an army of teddy bears training and indoctrinating young recruits for the war against the unicorns. Blending animated classic Bambi with anti-war epic Apocalypse Now the film follows two brothers along with a group of inexperienced recruits who are sent on a dangerous mission to save the Magic Forest from the unicorns in a dark comedy that uses animated fantasy to ponder the origin of evil.
