MAF 2023 COMMUNITY AGREEMENT

All legal restrictions against COVID-19 have now lifted, but MAF and our partner venues are still dedicated to ensuring our audiences feel safe.

To ensure that everyone coming to a physical MAF 2023 event has a positive and safe experience, we are asking that you read and follow this community agreement:

If attending a MAF event in venue please try to:

  • Consider making steps to have both vaccine jabs and/or booster jabs before your visit.
  • Be mindful and respectful of other people’s personal space when attending events; you may have got used to being back at events, but MAF may be someone’s first trip back to the cinema.
  • Adhere to any venue rules such as one-way systems
  • Make use of hand sanitiser as much as possible
  • Where possible, book all tickets in advance to avoid additional queues.

If you or anyone in your household have symptoms (a high temperature, a new, continuous cough, a loss or change to their normal sense of smell or taste) or feel at all unwell while attending the festival:

  • Please do not attend any other events and take Lateral Flow Test test if possible.
  • Self-isolate until your test results are clear.

The MAF team can’t wait to see your faces in the cinema again and we thank you in advance for reading this mutual agreement, which will ensure that both our team, and our audiences have a safe and comfortable experience whilst being back in venues this November!

If you would like to get in contact with us to discuss any of the above, please email greg@manchesteranimationfestival.co.uk.
