Shelley Page

Shelley’s career in animation began at the London studio of legendary animation director Richard Williams in 1982 – which led to a position as head of backgrounds on ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’ (1988).

In 1989 she joined the Amblimation Studio in London until she was recruited in early 1995 as one of the first team of artists to establish the DreamWorks Animation studio in LA.

Since joining DreamWorks Animation as co-head of Artist Development, Shelley has worked in many areas of feature animation production, including helping to establish new DWA studios in Bangalore and Shanghai.

Since leaving DreamWorks in 2016, Shelley has worked with many leading animation studios worldwide – including Aardman.

Shelley’s 36+ feature film credits include: ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’, ‘The Prince Of Egypt’, ‘Shrek’, ‘Madagascar’, ‘Kung Fu Panda’, ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and, most recently, ‘Ron’s Gone Wrong’.

In 2019 Shelley joined Locksmith Animation in London as Artist Liaison. She is constantly seeking out amazing artists for the studio’s feature animation projects. Locksmith Animation is currently in production on ‘That Christmas’ (2024).

Shelley also regularly gives presentations at leading animation schools and she is frequent speaker at many animation festivals and conferences worldwide. One of the very best parts of her job is finding wonderful new talent on her travels!
