David Park
David Park is Head of Production of PASSION Animation, a division of PASSION PICTURES.
With over 18 years of experience, David has previously held roles at Pixar and Locksmith. During his 15 years at Pixar, David served as production manager on Monsters University (2013) and Coco (2017); animation department manager on Toy Story 3 (2010); animation coordinator on Wall-E (2008) and art coordinator for Ratatouille (2007). Prior to PASSION, David’s most recent work was on Ron’s Gone Wrong (2021) where he was associate producer, for Locksmith.
Overseeing all aspects of creative development, David is leading the studio’s move into Long Form animation working with streaming and studio partners on original features and series. The studio’s latest project is a 32 x 11min-animated series for a major streamer. Development deals are also in place with major streamers across PASSION Animation’s original series projects.
David is instrumental in developing original animated programming, working alongside Jason Nicholas (Head of CG at PASSION) in Research and Development into cutting edge technology for PASSION’s in-house pipeline, to deliver premium TV Series and Features.
