Andrew Lord

Andrew is co-founder and managing director of Flipbook Studio, a multidisciplinary production company based in Manchester city centre. Andrew began his career in animation and visual effects as a producer at Bafta-winning studio Redvision, before joining Realtime and then, finally, co-founding Flipbook in 2010. As managing director and executive producer, Andrew has overseen a broad range of productions including VFX on The Worst Witch (BBC/Netflix), Inside No 9 (BBC) and Gerard Butler film Kandahar (Open Road films). Andrew also co-produced Annie nominated, Oscar shortlisted and British Animation Award winning short film, Black Slide, directed by Uri Lotan. Andrew is currently involved in the development of a number of animated series, including Esme Wonderwig, a co-production with Adastra Creative.
