Manchester Animation Festival invites you to step into the heart-warming world of Satoshi Kon’s ‘Tokyo Godfathers’ as we celebrate its 20th anniversary on the big screen with a new 4k screening. This captivating film follows three homeless individuals who find an abandoned baby on Christmas Eve, embarking on a quest to find its parents. Their journey through Tokyo’s bustling streets is a tale of redemption, unexpected friendships, and the magic of the holiday season presented in a way only master director Satoshi Kon could.
