We’re very excited to be working in partnership with HOME to present a special screening of Dean Fleischer-Camp’s adorable, and heartwarming Marcel the Shell with Shoes On! This event will take place Wed 22 Feb at 18:15.
This BAFTA nominated film follows Marcel, an adorable one-inch-tall shell who ekes out a colourful existence with his grandmother Connie and their pet lint, Alan. Once part of a sprawling community of shells, they now live alone as the sole survivors of a mysterious tragedy.
But when a documentary filmmaker discovers them amongst the clutter of his Airbnb, the short film he posts online brings Marcel millions of passionate fans, as well as unprecedented dangers and a new hope of finding his long-lost family.
This screening will also be introduced by Dr Steven Henderson, Editor of Skwigly Animation Magazine and Director of Manchester Animation Festival!
