Merlin Crossingham

Merlin started his career at Aardman as a key animator, mainly working on commercials, before joining big feature projects ‘Chicken Run’ and ‘Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit’, where he animated some of the film’s most memorable scenes.

From there he progressed to co-directing the Emmy®-nominated ‘Creature Comforts America’.As well as directing commercials, Merlin has voiced and directed Aardman’s classic Morph series since 2014 and is Creative Director of Wallace & Gromit, directing all aspects of the brand from merchandise to live shows, commercials to short films.

He was animation director for Nick Park’s feature film ‘Early Man’ and creative director on the Wallace & Gromit augmented reality project, ‘The Big Fix-Up’, which launched in 2021.

Merlin is currently co-directing the new Wallace & Gromit feature film alongside Nick Park, which will be released in 2024.
