Manchester Animation Festival 2022

About

Flipbook is an animation and VFX studio, formed in 2010 and based in Manchester city centre. We’re a team of artists, technologists and creators who produce visual content for a variety of different entertainment channels and platforms. We deal in moving image, especially Animation, Visual Effects and CGI and count ourselves fortunate to collaborate with some of the biggest names in television, film, video games and advertising.

As well as working on episodic TV for Netflix, ZDF, Sky, BBC and Channel 4 we’ve also produced a number of award winning short films. Our most recent short film, Black Slide, won the audience award for Best Short Film at the British Animation Awards. It was also officially selected in the short film category at this year’s Annecy festival and has won three Oscar qualifying festival grand prizes. Most importantly of all, it’s screening at this year’s Manchester Animation Festival, so do go and see it!

The Flipbook Studios stall in HOME’s Theatre 2 will be manned from 10:00 til 18:00 on Thu 17 Nov.
