Short Film Jury

Hanna Ines Flint

Hanna is a London-based film critic, culture commentator and author of mixed British-Tunisian heritage. Her reviews, features and interviews are featured regularly in Empire magazine, BBC Culture, IGN and The New Arab. She is a host of MTV Movies and co-hosts the weekly reviews podcast Fade To Black.

Ivana Kvesić

Ivana Kvesić is the director of Fantoche – International Animation Film Festival in Baden, Switzerland. She is the former Co-Director of the youth film festival Schweizer Jugendfilmtage in Zurich and is part of the selection committee of the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and Rote Fabrik Zurich.

Evgenia Golubeva

Evgenia Golubeva is an award-winning director, writer and character designer. She has directed multiple animated TV episodes and written over 100 screenplays for clients such as Disney, Sky Kids, Nick Jr and the BBC.

Feature Film Jury

Jo Chalkley

Jo has worked in the Animation Industry for 30 years largely in Stop Motion, specialising in pre-school and children's animation for companies including Cosgrove Hall Films, Aardman Animations and Factory create working with many favourites including Andy Pandy, Postman Pat, Shaun the Sheep and Creature Comforts. She has also worked on feature films including 'Tim Burtons Corpse Bride' and ‘Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death'. Most recently, on 'Chuck Steel - Night of the Trampires'.

Kieran Argo

Kieran is currently the Senior Producer for the British Animation Awards (a.k.a. ‘the BAAs’) - the leading biennial awards organisation solely for the UK animation industry. Kieran is an experienced animation Project Manager and Events Producer with comprehensive knowledge of UK and international animation.

Abigail Addison

Abigail is a Producer and Programmer. She is a Director of Animate Projects, an agency working at the intersection of film, art and animation, that produces award winning, innovative and experimental films. . Additionally, she is the Training and Development Producer at production company Lupus Films. Abigail was the Animation Programmer at Edinburgh International Film Festival for the last three years, and has curated the Figures in Focus programme at London International Animation Festival since 2017.

Industry Excellence Award Jury

Elena Wurlitzer

Elena recently joined Jellyfish Pictures as Development Producer, where she oversees the animation slate across kids & family content, sourcing and nurturing original IP ranging from preschool to tweens. Focusing on both series and feature projects in the high-end CG space, Elena works on both UK and international productions with evergreen appeal.

Steve Kimbrey

Steve has been an animator at Blue-Zoo for the past 7 years and is currently an Animation Lead on a long-form production. Steve has 10+ years experience in the animation industry across games and TV production.

Rahul Dasgupta

Rahul is a Senior Storyboard artist and an Illustrator from India who has been working in the animation industry for the past 10 years. Currently working with Blue-Zoo for over 3 years where they have worked on many amazing shows such as The adventures of Paddington and Colourblocks.

Alessandro Chirico

Alessandro Chirico is an Emmy Nominated Art Director, Production Designer and Visual Development Artists with 14 years of experience. His wide range of style and versatility has brought him to work on projects such as Prehistoric Planet as Creature Designer, When Whales Walked as Creature Designer (Emmy nominated for Outstanding Art Direction and Graphic Design together with the team at Jellyfish Pictures), Mama K's Team 4 as Production Designer and Art Director, Black Mirror (he designed the iconic robot dog in the Episode "Metalhead"), His Dark Materials as Creature Designer, just to mention a few.
