Valentina Ventimigila
Valentina is a Show Creator and Director with over twelve years of experience working in the animation industry. Her skills include Traditional and Digital Animation, Storyboard, Storyboard Direction, Character Design and Production Development.
After graduating in Animation in Italy, she worked as a freelancer for Cartoon Network, Disney, and other major animation studios in London and later on she joined two feature film production – Frankenweenie and Fantastic Mr Fox – as Storyboard Assistant. In 2017 Valentina got her own animated pre-school show “Labuntina” commissioned by Sky, which then was BAFTA nominated in 2019 and and won the TBI Content Innovation Award in 2021 for Best Pre-school Animation.
Valentina is currently based in the Manchester area, freelancing as Director, Storyboard Supervisor, Story Artist, Character Designer and Development Producer.
