Jonny Ashworth
Jonny is the Creative Director of Mighty Giant, an animation and motion design studio in Manchester.
Formed in 2010, Mighty Giant deliberately set out to follow a ’no house-style’ route, allowing them to work across multiple disciplines; from Stop Motion, through hand drawn animation, to full 3D VFX. Their clients range from the BBC, Children in Need and Shelter, to brands like Jaguar Land Rover and Talk Talk.
After studying Graphic Design, Jonny worked for several years at the BBC fas a Motion Designer. He left to explore the agency world, and worked at various creative and advertising agencies in London. He set up Mighty Giant to bring with the aim to build a small trusted band of designers and animators who are experts at their craft
Aside from the day job, Jonny also runs the Motion North event in Manchester, that has been welcoming the animation and motion community, and guest speakers, to it’s events since 2011.
