Jon Turner
Jon started his career at Cosgrove Hall Digital in 1999, as a CG Generalist.
His production credits while there include: Postman Pat, Engie Benjy, Albie, Fetch the Vet, Fifi and the Flowertots, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 9cut scenes) and music videos for Tindersticks and Mr. Scruff.
He’s been the co-owner of Kilogramme animation since 2005
Kilogramme is a design lead animation company, based in Manchester. It produces 2D and 3D short form animations for broadcast and online.
Past clients include: the BBC, V&A, British Council, Ben and Jerry’s, Turkish Airlines, English Heritage and Disney.
Broadcast credits include: The Dumping Ground, titles and interstitials(CBBC), seasonal shorts and show bumpers for Cbeebies, 100 Years Ago: My Country for BBC Learning, Bitesize Computer Science, Share a Story and Inventoons for CITV, How TV Changed Britain for C4 (interstitials and titles), Turn Back Time (titles and interstitials) for Hat Trick North and BBC 2.
Jon’s roles range from producer, to director, modeller, animator and script writer.
