Georgina Hurcombe
Georgina Hurcombe is the producer of the BFI YACF-funded preschool series Pop Paper City. Launching on Milkshake! in late 2022, Pop Paper City is a 52×11′ 3D craft series with adventure. It focuses on a group of unique paper friends who live in a captivating paper world, and encourages ‘doing as well as viewing’. The series is being distributed by Aardman Animations. In 2020 and 2022 respectively, Georgina has been highlighted by MIPTV as a ‘Producer to Watch’, and in 2020 Georgina won the ‘In Development Kids Series Pitch’ at the MIPTV with Pop Paper City.
Georgina founded the animation studio Lovelove Films in 2010. She has produced an array of animated content throughout this time, which has been broadcasted both nationally and internationally. Georgina was a board member of Animated women UK, and is also a member of BAFTA.
