Elena Wurlitzer
Elena recently joined Jellyfish Pictures as Development Producer, where she oversees the animation slate across kids & family content, sourcing and nurturing original IP ranging from preschool to tweens. Focusing on both series and feature projects in the high-end CG space, Elena works on both UK and international productions with evergreen appeal.
Prior to joining Jellyfish, Elena was Senior Development Executive at Wildseed Studios, where she led a slate of original live-action and animated series from pitch through to production, with an emphasis on emerging and under-represented talent. In addition to the development process, Elena spent several years on the broadcast side as Creative Exec at Disney in Original Series and Co-productions, and additionally was an animation script writer for series distributed globally, including Disney Junior and CBeebies.
Alongside her scripting background, Elena has led creative production on children’s digital platforms, where she was honoured to be a part of a team that received an International Emmy Award nomination. When not storytelling, Elena can be found planning her next outdoor adventure (from gorge scrambling to windsurfing) or playing board games with her boy/girl twins.
