Alessandro Chirico
Alessandro Chirico is an Emmy Nominated Art Director, Production Designer and Visual Development Artists with 14 years of experience.
His wide range of style and versatility has brought him to work on projects such as Prehistoric Planet as Creature Designer, When Whales Walked as Creature Designer (Emmy nominated for Outstanding Art Direction and Graphic Design together with the team at Jellyfish Pictures), Mama K’s Team 4 as Production Designer and Art Director, Black Mirror (he designed the iconic robot dog in the Episode “Metalhead”), His Dark Materials as Creature Designer, just to mention a few.
Alessandro deeply loves the challenge of creating original styles on many varied projects across the range of Feature Films, TV Series and Games. Since he joined Jellyfish Pictures he has worked on many projects, including pitches for numerous international clients.
He is currently working on bibles creation, vis dev work for Jellyfish Originals, Feature Films and TV Series. One example is his recent art direction of the initial stage of the animated TV Series “Wereworld” for Netflix.
At the moment, he is leading the Art Department providing creative and art direction on all incoming projects. He firmly believes in teamwork and creates strong working relationships within his teams.
