Kindred

KINDRED is an animated short VR film. It tells the true story of Syd, the first non-binary trans person to adopt a child in the UK. It’s driven by first person narration of Syd who is an aspiring parent, and is going through the adoption process. After almost two years of rejections, Syd gets matched with a kid named Ollie, who is gender questioning. They spark a connection and eventually their relationship is solidified legally by the courts and they officially become a family.
