Mackinnon & Saunders: 30 Years and Beyond

Over the past 30 years Mackinnon & Saunders have brought stories to life, from model-making to animation production. The team has worked with some of the best known directors in the industry, Tim Burton’s Mars Attack and Corpse Bride, Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr Fox and recently Guillermo del toro’s Pinocchio.

Join Waterside Arts Centre and Creative Industries Trafford to celebrate 30 years of the persistence of vision of a team of local animators and model-makers, which has connected with audiences around the world. The exhibition will showcase the skill and artistry behind some of the most iconic characters from stop motion animation.

The exhibition opens for a preview day on Thu 17 Nov and MAF attendees are invited to Waterside Arts Centre in Sale (a short ride on the tram from Deansgate Castlefield) to have a first look!
