Art of the Multiplane Screening (15)
In a digital world where the undo button is overused and blemishes are avoided, straight ahead, direct animation offers a traditional, hands on way of creating wonderful worlds and telling crafty stories. With a multiplane camera, a bag of sand (or coloured salt), ink, cardboard or paint, some of the most beloved animated shorts ever made have been created in this way. Accompanying our Art of the Multiplane panel discussion, featuring Caroline Leaf, Eihmin McNamara and Anna Eijsbouts we will be a selection of work from the artists and more. Join us and revel in these beautiful films.
