We need you to help make Manchester Animation Festival run smoothly!
Our call for volunteers for MAF 2024 is now open. If you’d like to volunteer submit the form below by Wed 9 Oct. We will inform successful applicants by Wed 16 Oct.
We are looking for people who are:
- Have good communication skills and a friendly manner
- Are able to deal effectively with people at all levels to support with hospitality, meeting and greeting guests, signposting visitors, and providing support and information
- Completely reliable and free for at least three full shifts from 10-14 November 2024 (certain roles may be required a little more)
- Are able to work well in a team and on their own, and driven to help make Manchester Animation Festival one of the best audience experiences in the UK
- Are over 18 years old
- Have an interest in animation
Manchester Animation Festival are unable to cover travel expenses to the festival.

ROLES
Volunteers help the festival run smoothly, ushering, working on the delegate desk, overseeing events, mic running etc. Certain volunteers who have additional relevant experience may be asked to oversee the schedule, meet and greet guests, work with our social media team to pull content together etc.
