Grant Orchard

Grant Orchard is a London based animator, with over 25 years’ experience directing, designing and writing.

His work ranges from commercials for brands such as MTV, the Science Museum and Orange, to internationally acclaimed short films and long form work such as Hey Duggee – the show he created and directed with Studio AKA and the BBC.

Recognition for his work has garnered multiple awards – including Bafta’s, International Emmy’s, British Animation Awards and D&D’s, alongside wins at the Sundance Film Festival and an Oscar nomination. Hey Duggee is also the only children’s show ever to be given its own exhibition at the Design Museum.

Alongside commercial work he has lectured at the Royal College of Art and the University of the Creative Arts, while also giving talks at various international festivals such as It’s Nice That and Pictoplasma.
