Charlotte Bavasso

Charlotte Bavasso is the Co-Founder and CEO of Nexus Studios, an award-winning global studio in film and experience design. With studios in LA, London and Sydney, they create film and experiences across all platforms including cutting-edge work in the arena of spatial computing.

Their prolific multi-platform output includes the Gold Cannes Lions winning project, Gorillaz Presents, The House an Emmy-award-winning and BAFTA-nominated feature for Netflix, the Grammy-nominated concert feature film Billie Eilish: Happier Than Ever, entertainment activations for the likes of NFL, NBA, MLB, and UFC, XR headset work for Headspace on Meta Quest, and Kung Fu Panda: School Of Chi on the Apple Vision Pro, and site-specific film work for ABBA Voyage, The Lion King at the Outernet, and the UFC Noche event at the MSG Sphere. Clients include Disney, Amazon Studios, Gorillaz, Sony, Google, Billie Eilish, ABBA, Dreamworks, Niantic, Apple, Headspace, and Meta.

Charlotte is a passionate advocate for greater diversity and equality within the production community. As a member of ‘Women in Animation’ in the US, she also actively mentors aspiring female leaders, and Nexus has been included on JP Morgan’s Top 200 Women-Powered UK Business coveted list two years in a row in 2023 and 2024.
