Hannah Lau Walker

With over ten years of experience within the commercial animation industry, Hannah has worked at indie studios to huge production houses. Animating everything from a laundrette morphing into a beautiful garden to a cow on skates. Since graduating from Central St.Martins, Hannah has developed her 2D animation skills to senior roles and led large animation productions working closely with crew to deliver exceptional work and has expanded into directing short films and commercials.

Kate Lander

Kate Lander is a leading career development and skills consultant with extensive experience in the animation and creative industries. She has collaborated with top studios including Brown Bag Films, Blue Zoo, ILM, and 9 Story Media, is a key advisor to our Access to Work organisations, is on the Animation Skills Council and a Non-Exec Director of Access:VFX. With a deep understanding of workforce trends and employability across creative media, Kate has designed award-winning training programs, authored ScreenSkills' "Building Blocks to Your Animated Career" resources, and through her business Lander Consulting, delivers a myriad of career development support to our industry.

Mark Simon Hewis

Mark Simon Hewis became Head of the Aardman Academy in 2020 after first joining Aardman 18 years ago as Pixillation Artist playing the body of the cult Aardman character "Angry Kid". He subsequently spent 10 years in Aardman's commercial department as a Director, Producer and 1st Assistant Director. Outside of Aardman. Mark made international award-winning films including The Life Sized Zoetrope (2008) made for Channel 4, Arts Council UK which was nominated for eight British Animation Awards and won the Grand Prix at the London International Animation Festival.
