Manchester Animation Festival are very excited to announce the first of many monthly screenings and events taking place outside of the festival under the ‘MAF Presents’ moniker, bringing you a regular dose of animation goodness the whole year round! These events will be screenings, special events, socials and more; each month a little taste of the annual festival which takes place every November.
The theme for our very first screening is THEY LOVE ME…THEY LOVE ME NOT! That’s right, a few days before the most romantic day of the year, we’ll be screening a curated selection of short films that explore the spectrum of romance; the good, the bad, the weird and the bloody lovely. The screening is 75 mins with an interval, plus plenty of time to hang out afterwards.
This event will take place at Chapeltown Picture House, which is part of the award winning street food venue GRUB and is a short 5 min walk from Manchester Victoria Train Station. Veggie & Vegan options are available for food & drink and the venue is accessible, please head here for more info.
We look forward to welcoming you to the first of many monthly events like this! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us via our website or socials.
